Welcoming Rockwood as a partner is especially gratifying for me. I first met Brett Keith, Rockwood’s co-founder and Managing Partner, about 25 years ago when his father, Ron, and I were partners in a very successful pharmacy venture. In August 2018, Rockwood provided significant equity to support the Lifeway management team’s growth strategies in aging-in-place via complex rehabilitation technologies. In April 2021, Lifeway was exited to a healthcare-focused private equity firm with Rockwood retaining a residual ownership interest.
