Rockwood portfolio company Superior Office Systems (“SOS”), a New York-based office equipment dealer and services provider, today announced the completion of a merger with Sapphire Office Solutions (“Sapphire”). Founded in 1999 by Paul Holstein and headquartered in Jericho, NY, Sapphire is an office equipment and services dealer focused on delivering best-in-class services within the tri-state area. Sapphire has partnerships with some of the industry’s top office equipment manufacturers, including Konica Minolta and Kyocera.
The merger is the first transaction for SOS since Rockwood Equity Partners completed a recapitalization in partnership with SOS co-founders, Eric Wolf and Tim Glover, in October 2019. It marks a major step in SOS’s planned evolution into a full service, “best-in-class” office solutions provider for the New York metropolitan and surrounding areas.
