Rockwood is excited to announce the promotions of three members of the firm. As investment team members, each is a key contributor toward fulfilling the firm’s mission to build small, U.S.-based businesses that are transitioning from their founders.

Reed Blocksom has been promoted to Partner. Reed is based in Cleveland and has been with Rockwood since 2008. Reed holds a B.S. in business administration with honors from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Hunter Allen has been promoted to Vice President. Hunter joined the firm’s Denver office in 2019. He holds a B.A. in public policy from the University of North Carolina.

Ben Giusto has been promoted to Associate. Ben joined Rockwood’s Cleveland office in 2020 after completing an internship with the firm. He graduated with a BBA in business economics from Ohio University and then received a Master of Science in Management with a major in Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

“2022 was the most successful year yet in Rockwood’s history, and the contributions of Reed Blocksom, Hunter Allen and Ben Giusto were invaluable,” said Brett Keith, Managing Partner of the firm. “Rockwood is honored to have them on our investment team and celebrates their much-deserved promotions.”
